This presentation will introduce the Networks for Prosperity initiative, providing details on the two reports of the same title (2011 and 2012). A special focus is put on the global Connectedness Index of UNIDO and its possible application in policymaking processes. The session will further highlight the importance of knowledge networking, connectedness and network governance in the post-2015 development agenda, particularly for middle-income countries.
